What similarities exist between Switzerland and Japan? Precision and punctuality, hallmarks of both cultures, shine through various sectors from craftsmanship to industry. In celebration of the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and Japan, a philatelic collection has been curated to reflect the bonds and commonalities between these two nations.

This collection combines Swiss and Japanese stamps and philatelic documents, unveiling fascinating stories uncovered during research, aided in part by the Grand Tour of Switzerland in Japan portal. It offers a unique opportunity to delve into the intriguing narratives of exchange and friendship between Switzerland and Japan.
