Japanese Street Food Workshop: Discover and Savor Hidden Delicacies
Explore the vibrant world of Japanese street food with our exclusive workshop led by Japanese chef Sai Fukayama. This theoretical and practical course will allow you to discover and prepare delicious dishes that are little known in the West while learning to make them with your own hands and savoring them right in the classroom!
What You’ll Learn and Do:
- Okonomiyaki Preparation: Discover how to make this traditional Japanese dish, similar to a savory pancake, enriched with various ingredients such as meat, fish, and vegetables.
- Dango Preparation: Learn to make Dango Shōyu (savory soy sauce dango), Anko (sweet red bean paste dango), and Mitarashi (sweet and semi-sweet soy sauce dango).
- Curiosities and History: Deepen your understanding of the relationship between sushi and street food in Japan and uncover fascinating anecdotes about Japanese culinary culture.
