Founded in the heart of Tokushima in 1995, the group has deep roots in the tradition of Awa Odori dance, skillfully enriched with modern touches. This fusion of styles has led Takarabune to perform in over 250 shows worldwide each year, captivating audiences of every culture and nationality.

Following the triumphant success of their performances in previous editions of the Japan Matsuri, they return by popular demand with two exceptional shows: the first one on Saturday, September 21st at 8:00 PM, featuring a never-before-seen performance in collaboration with Masayuki Sakamoto (former member of KODO) and the Sanbiki. The second one will take place on Sunday, September 22nd at 4:00 PM.
