Recognized as the oldest marbling technique, its origins date back to the year 1000. The beauty of SUMINAGASHI lies not only in the method but also in the design, with lines and shades that are always different and unpredictable. The artist's intention influences the outcome only partially, as the details of the work are determined by the vibrations the artist imparts to the water. After completing his studies at the Taiheiyo Academy of Fine Arts in Tokyo and gaining professional and artistic experience in Japan, he moved to Italy, driven by his love for art. In Florence, he earned a diploma in painting restoration from Palazzo Spinelli and attended a drawing course at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts. After many years in Florence, he relocated to Piedmont, settling in Casale Monferrato (AL), where he teaches traditional Japanese ink painting, known as \u2018sumi-e\u2019.
