Gyoza Masterclass

Learn How to Make Authentic Japanese Dumplings

A hands-on experience to learn how to make traditional Japanese gyoza, with a special focus on the yaki style – pan-fried until achieving their signature crispy bottom.

The class will begin with preparing the dough for handmade wrappers, followed by crafting the filling made of meat, vegetables, and Japanese sauces, carefully balanced for flavor and juiciness. Participants will learn different folding techniques – from the classic half-moon to the fan-shaped pleat – as well as the correct two-step cooking method used in Japan: searing followed by steaming.

A homemade dipping sauce will also be prepared during the course to perfectly enhance the flavor of the gyoza.

The experience will be rounded off with Japanese beer, for a truly authentic and complete experience.
