Tickets for Japan Matsuri 2026 can be purchased online or directly at the ticket counters during the festival.

To make entry even easier, visitors who purchase their tickets online will be able to collect their admission pass from 9:00 a.m., before the official opening of the festival.

Online Ticket Purchase & Pass Collection

To improve entry management, visitors who purchase their tickets online will be able to collect their admission pass from 9:00 a.m. at the dedicated collection point on Via del Bramantino, on the north side of Pavilion C (PalaSport).

This allows you to complete the procedure before the festival opens and enter the festival area more quickly once the gates officially open.

♿ Reduced Rates

The reduced rate (available on site only) applies to:

  • People with disabilities
  • One accompanying person per person with a disability

The reduced rate is available for:

  • 1-Day Ticket: CHF 8.–
  • 2-Day Pass: CHF 13.–

To benefit from the reduced rate, valid documentation confirming eligibility must be presented at the ticket counter.

ℹ️ Useful Information

  • Tickets can be purchased online or directly at the ticket counters during the festival.
  • Tickets purchased online must be exchanged for an admission pass.
  • Some workshops require registration and a separate ticket.
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Admission passes are wristbands issued upon entry to the festival. For visitors who purchase their tickets in advance, the ticket will be exchanged for a wristband upon their first entry to Japan Matsuri. Removed wristbands will not be replaced.
  • CHF 200.– and CHF 1,000.– banknotes are not accepted at the ticket counters.
