Shiden-ryu is a performance school that brings the spirit of the samurai into the modern era, blending the philosophy of Bushido with contemporary expressive arts.

Founded with the aim of sharing traditional Japanese culture both in Japan and abroad, Shiden-ryu has developed a unique style that combines the foundations of swordsmanship, stage combat, and etiquette with elements of theatre and stylized, choreographed movement, along with spectacular sword fights (tate).
