Immerse yourself in the heart of Tokyo’s Shotokan Karate, exploring its profound philosophy, rich history, and authentic practice. Learn about the main styles, the meaning of terms such as kihon, kata, and kumite, and the remarkable worldwide spread of this martial art. Take part in a presentation combined with a basic training session led by experienced masters, including warm-up, fundamental techniques, form sequences, and sparring — for an engaging experience that unites body, mind, and spirit.

Shintai-Karate Do is a young Karate school based in Lugano. For the past three years, it has been committed to transmitting and promoting this ancient martial art with authenticity, professionalism, and above all, respect for tradition. The school is an active member of the JKS, a Japanese federation based in Tokyo and founded in 2000 by Master Asai Tetsuhiko.
