Bonsai Workshop

The Bonsai Club Ticino dates back to 1986, when a small group of bonsai enthusiasts decided to create a dynamic place where it was possible to meet with friends and share a common passion. During the past few years, the Club started to open up to change, innovations and new energy.

In 2008 the BCT also joined the Piemonte – Lombardia union, while in 2010 it became part of the Swiss Bonsai Club.

SUMI-E

The Japanese word SUMI-E (墨絵) means “painting with ink” and it is an art that represents the harmony through the use of Sumi (ink), water and paper.
An art that transmits emotions to the painter in black, white and grey, and that requires concentration, dedication and good practice, as the delicate painted lines cannot be erased.
An art to express yourself without saying a word.
