The Japan Matsuri festival will host “Furoshiki – Terre del Ceneri meet Japan” exhibition which was created by Pro Cadenazzo Robasacco in collaboration with the Cadenazzo Municipal Council and  the Educational Centre for the Artistic Industries (CSIA). Terre del Ceneri is part of the Culture in movement program, subsidised by the Federal help for the Italian language and culture.

The exhibit is an emotional cultural voyage that ties together the two cultures. It evokes many different feeling in the observer, should they decide to let themselves be transported by the ambience and the events. Contemplation, emotion and nature paint natural paintings of traditions and sensational discoveries. 16 limited edition Furoshiki we’re created for this exhibition by some young and talented artists. The suggestive landscapes of the paintings fully immerse the observer and leading them in a voyage of light and colour.

In Japan, the Furoshiki is a square fabric wrapper, which is commonly used to transport clothes, presents and other goods.
