Introduction to machine embroidery

Discover the magic behind each stitch

Cosplayer, crafter, or simply curious about machine embroidery?

Discover how technology and traditional needlework merge with our judge and expert Neko Yona. Exploring this field for the last decade, she has honed this skill through the years turning her passion for needlework into a career and collaborating with prominent figures from the cosplay scene such as Yaya Han for panels backed by BERNINA.

Join her Sunday morning to learn how fine details take shape stitch by stitch and watch as she demonstrates digitising a design with embroidery software and bringing it to life on appropriate fabric.

Don’t miss the opportunity to learn tips and tricks, and which challenges you'll have to face; after all, machine embroidery is much more than pressing a button!
