Introduction to the Japanese Tea Ceremony

Mt. Fuji Matcha & Wagashi Tasting

Embark on a fascinating journey into Japanese tradition through the art of the Japanese Tea Ceremony.

During this exclusive experience, you will enjoy a brief introduction to the Tea Ceremony (Chanoyu) as a guest, led by a tea master. You will then have the opportunity to taste a premium matcha grown on the slopes of Mt. Fuji, accompanied by exquisite wagashi, the traditional Japanese sweets specially prepared for the occasion by pastry chef Satoko Kitano.

The tasting will also be guided by tea sommelier Kenzo Terada, who will introduce you to the unique characteristics of matcha, explaining its production process, delicate aromatic nuances, and the proper way to taste and appreciate it.

An authentic experience combining flavour, tradition, and culture—perfect for anyone wishing to dis-cover one of Japan's most refined cultural traditions.
